Why this logo?
Our logo is a map of Chicago’s ‘L’ rail system, artistically configured in a stained glass window. The rail system flows into a picture of a cross.
This logo captures three important aspects of our mission:
Our heart is for the city of Chicago. Our logo incorporates Chicago’s ‘L’ system, acknowledging our love for Chicago. We desire to see the city of Chicago transformed by the power of the Gospel.
The Cross of Christ is our focus. The ‘L’ system ultimately points to the image of the Cross. Everything we do hinges on the transforming power of Christ’s sacrifice to save lives.
The Church is necessary. The stained glass window, a common church architecture feature, acknowledges the importance of the local church in our ministry. Not only do we desire to see churches planted around the city, but we heavily rely on the accountability and support of local churches in all we do.
